On November 5, 2020, Reaction Biology shared its recent efforts to support the drug discovery community in a live webinar. The panelists from Reaction Biology’s team—Kayleigh McGovern-Gooch, Manager of the Non-Kinase Biochemical Group and Rebecca Eells, Associate Director of Biophysics—presented on biochemical protease assays they have in their COVID panel and viral proteins involved in viral polyprotein processing (PLpro and Mpro). They also discussed their SPR assays for targeting viral entry by testing molecules that can block the interaction between the viral Spike protein (specially looking at the receptor binding domain in this work) and the host protein ACE2. Below is a recording of the entire webinar and Q&A session.
